| Team Competition: | Only USATF teams verified by noon on January 4 to be eligible may compete for team awards. Women's clubs (and men's in the region and Gulf championships) with more than five members competing must declare the makeup of its team(s) in advance of the start of the race. Athletes may compete on both a masters and a women's (or men's in the region and Gulf championships) team for the same club. Unless declared differently in writing to race director Dave Gwyn or registrar Juanita Rogillio before the start of the race, the intention of each masters club will be assumed to be to form one team with its three oldest members present at the start of the 50km, another with its next three oldest, and so on, with any members not assigned by this method being assigned to the club's youngest team if eligible.
